Steel Angle

Angle steel, also known as angle iron, is a long strip of steel with two sides perpendicular to each other forming a 90-degree angle. Angle steel is divided into two types: equal angle steel and unequal angle steel. The two sides of an equilateral angle are equal in width. Its specifications are expressed in millimeters of side width × side width × side thickness. For example, “∠20×20×4” means an equilateral angle steel with a side width of 20 mm and a side thickness of 4 mm. Angle steel is widely used in various building structures and engineering structures, such as beams, bridges, transmission towers, hoisting and transporting machinery, ships, industrial furnaces, reaction towers and container racks.
